People's Republic of Argentina

Yet another flag I made out of boredom instead of doing my homework , this time of Argentina. Done for the collab of #MapsAndFlags of making alternate South American flags. Once again, like my previous flag I'm not sure if Argentina would ever end up with such an insignia, since they didn't have any communist inclination as far as I know. However, this time the heraldry makes a bit more sense than my usual flag submissions; I used the Argentinian sun from their actual flag for the sun in the coat of arms, and the blue-white-blue bands are a reference to the real Argentinian flag. This flag was mainly inspired by one of the numerous flags of Afghanistan when it was communist as well as the flag of Tripoli that appears in Victoria II.
