Oh man, I don't know what possessed me to pop in here on this evening, but this is probably gonna be my final journal entry on this site, since I don't even make maps anymore, meaning that there's not gonna be any new content coming from me unless I get really, really nostalgic later on. Speaking of nostalgia, seems like a lot of my old friends that I knew irl but mainly interacted with through this site updated their journals recently after years of inactivity, though this happened about a month ago so I'm a bit late to the party so this message will probably fall on deaf ears . Everyone's in universities and colleges now, we're all grown up *happy tears*, even some of the group messages that caught my eye are complaints that there's no longer time to run the old groups because everyone's swamped with schoolwork!
But anyways, this site's more dead by the day though, seems like the only old personality left on here is good ol' Dobson. Looking through my messages felt like looking through old LiveJournals that have long since died, and the fact that most messages from my friends were along the lines of "Not dead yet despite inactivity!" suggest the obvious. Despite its current shortcomings though, I still can't deny that this site was a major part of my life, as depressing as that sounds. I first logged into here back in 2008 when I just started high school, and my last meaningful contribution to this site (which I consider to be that Assassin's Creed III flag I made) was during the summer after I graduated from high school, meaning that if you remembered all the accounts I jumped through to get to this point, you can literally trace my entire high school experience through this site. And what a ride that was! We've been through good times, quite a few bad times if you remembered my old account, but if you're thinking of this in terms of a story, I'd say it had a happy ending. Though it's still the cringe-worthy, typical DeviantArt story of an emo kid who eventually snaps and joins a ridiculous fandom, in my case becoming a weeaboo.
Welp, so long! If you need to contact me, you know where to find me

Lucky Number 13
Popped in to look for some Xfce skins, looks like I was just in time to catch dA's 13th birthday. Might as well use the opportunity to use a journal skin for free while I can :dummy:. Having not touched this site for over 6 months, looks like they messed the interface up again a bit, didn't they? All these buttons everywhere when you're editing text, holy hell...
First year of college went by well, I survived so that's good. I almost lost my scholarship money because of math but a miracle ended up taking place contrary to expectations, resulting in my GPA being just high enough for me to come back for at least another year. I met some really

Doomsday has passed, 2012 is over, and we're still here! If you've slept through December 21, do not fear, for there's another doomsday coming up on April 13, 2037.
I really hope this journal entry isn't just gonna fall on blind eyes/deaf ears/whatever. I have an inkling that everyone I know on here has either switched accounts and forgot about me or moved to Pixiv. Literally everyone, even Tom Preston threw in the towel a few months ago iirc. My message box currently has over 10,000 messages, with the oldest message almost a year old now (3 days to go until its first birthday :cake:). I don't know if it's obvious yet, but they are never gon
4 years later...
Right, so in my last journal I put a link to a thread where someone was chewing out Tom Preston for hiding comments, and I come back a month later, and... The entire thread is "Hidden by Owner"
Well then...
Anyways, on August 31, it was exactly 4 years since I joined this site, but saying I was on the site for 4 years would be lying since it's more like 3.5 years and the rest is me losing interest and going on Tumblr, and later starting my own page on Facebook about Linux and how much Windows 8 and Ouya suck (which apparently is what I'm into now... weird). I'm not very sure as to what exactly made me slowly leave the site over the last yea
Happy Birthday DeviantArt
Somehow I wound up on this site again, this time looking at a rant directed at Andrew Dobson's lack of any skill http://comments.deviantart.com/1/314782873/2646205696# , no I do not remember what I clicked.
Good god, my last journal was about Eurovision? Well then...
Not much happened these past 3 months. I graduated from high school after all, and according to my AP test results I never have to do art again, which makes me happy because the so-called "art scene" disgusts me now. I'll miss my old friends, but since nearly all of them are going to colleges nearby (some even to the same one that I'm going to), everyone is still within earshot
