Doomsday has passed, 2012 is over, and we're still here! If you've slept through December 21, do not fear, for there's another doomsday coming up on April 13, 2037.
I really hope this journal entry isn't just gonna fall on blind eyes/deaf ears/whatever. I have an inkling that everyone I know on here has either switched accounts and forgot about me or moved to Pixiv. Literally everyone, even Tom Preston threw in the towel a few months ago iirc. My message box currently has over 10,000 messages, with the oldest message almost a year old now (3 days to go until its first birthday

). I don't know if it's obvious yet, but they are never gonna be replied to ;_;
Today was an interesting day, I learned about just how far one's influence on the internet can go. They were having another club fair at UTA today, so I got to take a look at all the organizations once again. But something caught my eye at the Linux Users' Group's banner they had on their table. It had Tux the penguin on it, but not just any Tux the penguin! I'd recognize this particular Tux the penguin anywhere; it was my Tux the penguin
[link] I made so long ago on that fateful day in May in my long-since-passed Electronic Media Art 2 class. Suddenly, all those great memories from 11th grade came back to me, and nostalgia took hold for a few seconds. And I remembered about this place of course, in 11th grade this site was the center of the universe for me. Now look where I am, all the way in college!
Anyways, I've had a long break from making artwork, and feel like jumping back in. But not digital art, I feel like finally getting around to actually learning how to do pencil and paper drawings, not just digital manipulation. Thing is, this account's channel-drifted into being about maps and flags, so if I start posting bad sketches of attempts at drawing stuff people will get mad and unsubscribe. So I'm currently in the process of thinking up a new name for a new account on this site, so help me think of names. Or should I switch to Pixiv? Please respond...
